Private investigator Fiona Drake and her boss, Tom Meyers. are entangled in two cold cases that will test them at every turn. To solve one, they must prove the local sheriff, who built his career on catching a serial killer, arrested the wrong man. The second case is more personal as it involves a plea from Tom’s dying mother to find her missing daughter, kidnapped thirty-five years ago.
As the cold cases heat up, and more information comes to light, Tom and Fiona find themselves caught in someone’s crosshairs. But who wants them dead? Is it the cagy killer, the child abductor, or a new player yet to be revealed?
