A failed black-ops mission in eastern Europe has retired NYPD detective and Navy SEAL Michael Keough recalled back to Washington. It’s there that a random encounter with a gunman leads Keough to uncover a conspiracy targeting the highest levels of the United States government. The case has local law enforcement, the FBI, and the Secret Service on high alert to stop a potential presidential assassination. But Keough is not convinced of the gunman’s true intentions—and the deeper he digs, the more disturbing the plot becomes.
