Laura and Owen’s new home should be lovely. But soon after moving into the secluded cottage on the edge of the Peak District, Laura starts to hear faint echoes of birdsong.
With Owen consumed by his job, Laura is left alone and anxious, unsure if the noise is real or a product of her own mind. As her doctor finds nothing wrong with her hearing, Laura’s fear and isolation only grow.
Then an archaeological dig beside a nearby church unearths disturbing finds – and Laura’s life takes a terrifying turn. As she becomes consumed by the mystery surrounding the dig, the noise in her head grows louder and more persistent. Can she trust her own senses? Or is there something more sinister at play?
