In a walled city surrounded by wilderness, Leonard lives a small life: factory job, unhappy marriage, and one-bedroom apartment. The sky is constantly clouded and, according to three estates that control the city, there is no sun. But that doesn’t stop him from daydreaming.
One evening, he spots something in the clouds he cannot explain: a bright light. Is this the sun? Have the estates been lying? Why? His suspicion builds until it sends him on a journey through strange, uncharted lands.
