In Idaho Territory in 1885, Kathryn Winchester, raised a Quaker but married into a life of death and sorrow, has found herself nearly alone once more. Married four times, her first four husbands all died violently. Her fourth now lies wounded and possibly dying, and she has no idea who shot him or why.
She must find out before it’s too late. But will she be able to recover from the truth?
If you want to read a Western, and a mystery, that does not have the typical garbage found in many modern books, this a book for you. The profanity and violence are minimal, the sexual content is non-existant. Yet the book never veers away from being realistic and completely believable.
