A university student is found hanging from a butcher’s hook in the Shambles. Her body has been stripped and her bloodied form sketched by her killer. When she is found, it is the marks on her body that catch the detectives’ attention. They are not there by accident but have been carved meticulously into her body.
DI Jack Husker is the detective tasked with finding the macabre killer before another student goes missing. He must put aside his own problems and the distractions from his past. Will he solve the case before the killer strikes again or will more of the brutal artwork be found across the city?
