A German traitor, working under the pseudonym ‘Max’, wants £25,000 in exchange for intelligence on U-boat locations, and he’s specifically requested Inspector Blackstone deliver the money. Blackstone and his sergeant, Archie Patterson, are certain there’s more to it than that.
