Ask in Prayer

Is Jesus the Christ? Is He my savior and redeemer? I resisted these questions and rebelled against the Methodist Church in high school. In college I followed Yogananda, an Indian guru. As a student at Brigham Young University, my friends convinced me to pray to know if Jesus was my Lord. I rejected God’s answer to my prayer. Later I found hope in Reverend Sun Myung Moon’s guidance. Thirty years after I started my spiritual quest, missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ found me. Again, I prayed and this time I accepted the Lord’s invitation to, “Come follow me!” My wife joined me in making a covenant with Lord and we found the joy and freedom in Christ that was missing in our lives.
