Deep in the Amazon jungle, a team of researchers make a horrifying discovery which will change the genetic makeup of human beings. Before they can warn anyone, they disappear!
The two people tasked with finding them are Danni Daniels, a gifted psychic, who has been left physically maimed and emotionally broken at the hands of a sadist, and her twin brother Gabe, a former black-ops operative who has his own demons he’s kept hidden from his sister for years now. Their guide through the Amazon is Gabe’s former teammate from his time in the Special Services, a man Danni didn’t even know existed.
As the companions travel down the Amazon River, they begin to realize they are being manipulated into a confrontation with a man who is both brilliant and evil, a man who has experimented on human beings with experiments gone horribly awry, a man who would do anything to achieve his twisted goals.
