A Rented World

Readers who followed Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics Captain Michael Parker in A Ghostly Shade of Pale will discover, as Michael does, that the gangsters who tried to kill him were amateurs compared to the political criminals he confronts in the unholy trinity of politics, crime, and business.
