Samantha is the leader of the Evolutionary Rebels, or Ereb as she calls them and she vows to fight Aion to the death.
She didn’t ask for this job, but the Ereb are newly evolved from their human ancestors and are the only ones able to stand against Aion. Samantha’s Ereb soldiers are a rowdy bunch of misfits but they swear allegiance to her in war against the Replica, Aion’s savage military assassins.
Luca, her Primary Protector, is bulletproof and would proclaim his love for her if it weren’t for the fact that he is forever in honor as her bodyguard.
You wouldn’t think that Samantha needed any protection at all given the fact that she is the only high-status Ereb left walking the earth, her powers unmatched. But this makes her incredibly valuable, and it is why the Replica assassins, including evil General Zim, hunt her with a vengeance. They strive at all costs to kill Samantha and end the Ereb species.
Ereb numbers are perilously low, and options dwindling, when Samantha has a supposedly chance encounter with an Original named Dr. Ben Myers. She is thrown off course. Her feelings for Ben are deep and complex, even though he is an agent for Aion.
In a world with so few allies, can she trust her own feelings? Can she trust Ben and enter the mysterious and unknown world of Aion, where she risks being altered in ways she could never predict?
Evolutionary Rebel is a dystopian apocalyptic drama series that mixes science fiction, fantasy, and psychological realism. The characters struggle with the existence of reality and deep psychological matters. Their fight for survival is as much literal as it is existential. Some of them are prone to violence and others aren’t.
