Missy was fifteen years old when her Mum died and would have been sent to an orphan home for the poor by the man posing as her father. Instead, she was placed in the home of the Earl of Windershire as a scullery maid while an Aunt she did not know she had, tried to find evidence that she was the daughter of the Earl. Missy learned her name was Victoria Elizabeth Grace C.H.H and that her Aunt hoped to invite her to move into her home and become the lady she was intended to be.
