Lis Egeberg was born in Denmark in 1935. As a child, she lived from five through ten years old, under Nazi Occupation in Denmark, during the Second World War. After the war was over, her family immigrated to Canada, and then eventually to the United States, where she still lives today. My name is Joe Holt, and I am one of her grandchildren. She shared her stories with me, so that we could share them with the world.
